Horrible Hair Cut--- Please Help?

I got my hair cut and it is horrendous..... choppy short weird layers on once side, perfectly spaced layers on the other side. I dont know what to do. The layers on the right side of my head are terrible. short and heavy. The hair on that side feels so much thinner now than the other side since this crazy lady effed my hair up.... options please!!

It's happened to me also. I get what you mean about the layers. I'm growing a horrendous cut out right now. Let it grow a couple months and then have the shorter side evened up a tiny bit and have the other side with the longer layers shortened up to match te other side better.

You can check your layers yourself to see what is wrong with them. In sections bring the layers out at a 90 degree angle ,that's the way they should have been brought out to cut also. There should be a pattern to where they all blend ,there should be straight line lines. Report It

I have had this happened to me twice. The first time I used a ponytail until the hair grew back a little ( it always adjusts somewhat after a while). I used to style it in a way the haircut didn楹搕 look so asymmetrical. The second time this happened I just went to a very good `expensive` hairstylist to fix it. My hair looked shorted but I had a very good hair style.

Another option for you is to go back to the person who did this to your hair and ask her to fix it.

My miniature labradoodle, Olive, is getting really shaggy. I know that thats the look but she is 3/4 poodle because her mom is a labradoodle and her dad is a miniature poodle. If she is an F1B I would recommend just getting a scissor trim until she is about 8-9 months old. At that time her adult coat will start coming in and will be more curly than fuzzy like her baby coat is now. You also need to have the hair plucked out of her ears about every 6 weeks to keep from getting ear infections since she is 75% poodle the hair in her ears will be thicker than an F1 which is only 50% poodle. The proud owner of 3 wonderful labradoodles myself!!!!!

Please don't listen to anyone insulting you or your dog. I'm glad you are enjoying your dog and are trying to take good care of it. I personally love mixed breed dogs.

I think if her hair is becoming a problem for you now get her groomed. I've seen lots of labradoodles and goldendoodles and people decide when to cut them based on their personal preferences. Some like them shaggy some like them short. When you stop and think about it this is true with many dogs. I have seen shih-tzu's, cocker spaniels, and maltese with both long and short hair so it all really boils down to your preference.

If you can't see in the picture it is naturally dark brown and I have blonde "chunks" in the front. Also I have a very big forehead , veryy thick hair, and naturally veryy curly hair I just straighten it. I am not preppy or emo I'm just me so it's not a certain style but I think the scene hair cuts look cute *the short ones*. It doesn't matter what color but I wouldn't want it too much shorter. I like to be different=]. But not too loud. So far I've had red purple and pink highlights.

yew dont have a big forehead, but i think yew could look good with bangs straight down in the front :D

i personally dont really like the blonde chunks, even though i guess they are original. since its close to your face, it kinda washes out your complexion

i say dye it black c: yew can get some funky extensions in bright bright colours, cause they look really cool contrasted with the black and plus getting extensions saves yew the hassle of having to bleach, then dye, then dye again cause the colour washes out.

I'm not sure if I should cut in layers or if I should just trip it ad let it be. I'm also not sure what I should do for color. I have been dying it red but that look fades really fast so I'm not sure if I should dye it brown again (my natural color) or if that dye will mess up just as much.

let your brows grow out a little bit; color the hair back to a neutral brown (level 5) and get a couple of hilites around your face.

for the cut:

take the crown to around 2 1/2 - 3 inches and layers all the way down so the ends curl up and get it texturized all over. change the part to just off center. keep the fringe area long.

Go for an angled bob...also called a graduated bob similar to Victoria Beckham. I think the longer version of it where the back isn't quite as short is very flattering on just about everyone. The angle of the cut slims the face and elongates a round face. Good luck!

you can use straighteners sold in drug stores that go on like conditioner then use a blow dryer with a comb or round brush and straighten it yourself at home. If the curls are kinda tight then keep it short its much neater that way.

P.S. I used to have a boyfriend who had curly hair and after he washed it and put conditioner on it, he would towel it dry and then "scrunch" it up with his fingers into natural-looking curls and let it dry naturally. That helped cut down on the frizz you get from blow-drying. His hair always looked great!

I have no true answer to your question but I would think it became a short hair thing after someone came up with scissors, hacking your hair off with a knife had to be an ouch. Where it has longer bangs, a chunky layer just below the jaw and another one about collar bone lenght. The back is long and all one lenght. Well, the thing is that shorter hair is easier to give maintainence than long hair.

I have always kept my hair up to the shoulders and the shortest I cut it is chin level.

One more thing I have learned is that when you let your hair grow longer than usual, most of the weight of your hair is in the back and this sometimes makes your hair weaker in the crown.

Talk to your mom and tell her that you would like to try and let your hair grow shoulder level and no longer than that, and see if she agrees.
