I had really long hair and i recently cut 12 inches (for locks of love) and now my hair barely sits on my shoulder and i have some layers in the back and quite a bit in the front and i have side swept bangs (i had with my long hair too) but im not a very good hair comber person im use to just putting my hair back in a messy bun everyday even with my long hair, and i had wavy hair but now that i cut my hair i only have waves like at the bottom of my hair not the top, so if you have short hair or know of cute styles that are kind of easy that i can do with my hair would be great thanks

I just got my hair cut to about the same length, and I've been having difficulty adjusting as well.
My tip would be to straighten it for a sleek effect, or you could try volume and curl products (Paul Mitchell's are the best) to spice it up.
I've also tried: a side ponytail near my shoulder blade, a high ponytail with a small coif (like my avatar), and waves with a funky headband.

think about doing twists when your hair is wet and allowing it to dry into medium-sized curls...that style looks nice on a lot of pple. also consider a 'pixie' cut which has blunt edges.
