yeah I have been dying my hair with bleach, permement color, and stuff like lemon juice to make your hair naturally lighter for 5 years now.. anyways.. I HAD bad damage.. and recently got a really short hair cut.. and I mean really short... and I got buzzed in the back.. so its my natural color in the back.. but I still have the fake blonde on top.. I was wondering what I can dye my hair with that won't cause damage, and can last a while what dye/color should I use? oh and btw.. I haven't dyed my hair since easter.
Hair color question..?
My experience with hair dye is if you go lighter (bleaching it) you get way more damage than if you darken your hair. Maybe you want to try to pick a darker color and just go over your entire head of hair. Maybe try a dark blonde- it will darken your light hair on top and lighten you hair in back. When doing this don't pick an ash color or the light hair that you are trying to make darker will have a green tint.
Hair color question..?
You probably shouldn't dye your hair becuase if you dye it to much and with it being damaged already your hair will melt.
Hair color question..?
you really can't. i guess you can just try to find a product that doesn't damage your hair as much. or try highlights and lowlights. that's what i do.
Hair color question..?
i think you should keep your natural haircolor or try going darker because using dark hair dye isnt half as damaging as using dye to lighten your hair. i suggest clairol natural instincts, loreal naturale match or loreal excellence creme. all can be found at the drugstore and are gentle on the hair. just remember to use good moisutirzing conditioners and l eave it on for 3 minutes. good luck, i hope it turns out well!
Hair color question..?
I'm definately not gonna say you shouldn't dye it. I dye my hair so much. I know how as soon as you see your roots its like WTF. I think you should dye it your natural color. So while growing out, you can't tell. But when it grows out completely it will be like starting over.. OR theres always a color stripper but it may turn your hair orangish and damage your hair even more.
Hair color question..?
highlights and lowlights are your best bet. a harsh all over color will burn your hair, or it will fry like bacon. good luck hope you have hair in the end.
Hair color question..?
well i think that u should die your hair the color that it really is and then when u hair grows out u can die it the color u want. and when u die it u should use a natural color
Hair color question..?
Well, I have had great success with Henna... its a completely natural plant dye that dyes your hair red. And its amazing. Every time I dye my hair with it, it makes my hair shiny, and more healthy. And it gives an amazing color. Henna has been used in places like India and Morocco for many years for tattooes and hair dye. The only thing is, it doesn't mix well with chemical dyes or perms. Hope that helps.
Hair color question..?
The absolute best thing to do is stop dying your hair. But its usually not that simple with most girls. I have a friend who bleaches her hair once a week. If you grab a chunk of her hair and lightly pull...the whole thing falls out!
After you dye your hair use a hot oil treatment or a deep conditioner. Use these only once a week because too much conditioner can make your hair very weak and flimsy. Make sure to use shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair. This will make it so the water doesn't pull the color out so fast and that way you don't dye your hair as often.
As far as hair coloring. They all damage your hair the same amount no matter what kind you use. Some people say it won't damage the hair as bad if you only keep the dye in for 25 minutes but the dye stops working after 25 minutes. If you blow dry and straighten your hair make sure to use a heat protectant serum.
Good Luck!
Hair color question..?
Box dyes are surprisingly more intense than dyes that the pros use. I dont think it's worth spending 200 dollars to get my hair done, but I also value my hair. No matter what color hair you have, if it's unhealhty it's going to look like crap.
Go to the beauty school nearest you. It's like 30 dollars and they use the same stuff that they use in high end salons. Just ask the teachers who they'd recommend, let him/her know that you're iffy about letting someone you dont trust do your hair.
Also, keep it simple.
